Minnehaha Falls Hike
The first day of summer break, we took a family hike at Minnehaha Falls. It was wonderful to explore the creek, falls, and the Mississippi river as well! The kids enjoyed throwing stones into the river and checking out the sandstone cliffs. We had the backpack ready for Anja, but she barely used it. She wanted to do it all herself and seemed to really enjoy all of it. We can't wait to go back again. It was a great way to kick off summer break!

That looks like so much fun. I forget about that area for hikes with kids! We might have to get down there, too. Cute kids and a fun area. Great photos.
