Happy Birthday, Elsa Joy!

My niece turns 3 today. I took this picture of her when we were at Covenant Pines. It wasn't long after this photo that Elsa decided she wanted to take off her shirt to be like Gus and Johan (who were shirtless at the time). They were all watching their dads play sand volleyball! Elsa always seems to keep us smiling! She truly is a JOY! Love you, Elsa!

Amy's Birthday

I had a great time celebrating with my friend, Amy, as she turned 40!  She is an amazing and godly woman and I am so blessed to have her as a friend.  As you can see from these photos, she a whole lot of fun as well.  Her sister, parents, and friends are so creative and had an amazing party for her birthday on July 13.  We had a 7.13K fun walk/run and the turn around point was at 40th Ave and 40th Street where Sarah, Jenny and I took jumping pictures (one of Amy's favorite things to do)!  Amy's favorite band is Storyhill, so Sarah and I were also able to get our picture taken with Chris and Johnny.  

the craft hall

At Covenant Pines, we got to spend a little bit of time in my old stomping grounds -- the Craft Hall!  I spent 3 summers helping campers of all ages make tie dye t-shirts, bracelets, necklaces, and other interesting projects!  I was there during the summers of 1992, 1993, and 1997.  It was great to be back in the craft hall - it really hasn't changed too much in the last thirteen years!  It was fun to be there working on projects with my kids.  I heart CPBC!

Hayride at CPBC

We had a great time at Covenant Pines Family Camp.  We were able to spend time with friends and family.  There are so many activities to do at camp, which include swimming, craft hall, chapel, playground, and more that we didn't have time to do.  One of our favorite activities was the hayride.  Here's a collage from the ride!

4th of July Weekend (Preview)

It was a busy weekend!  We headed to Covenant Pines Bible Camp for a few days and then to Forest Lake.  Here is a quick photo of Anja enjoying a ride at the Forest Lake fair.  More to come.....

Will's Birthday

Gus' good buddy, Will, turned 6 a few weeks ago.  Gus had a great time at his party.  They did a mini Olympics and played a lot of great games.  He is also pictured here with Charlie, another favorite pal!
